Wonderland

Two more "Alice´s in Wonderland" inspired layouts using Crate Paper Restorarion.

The first one, "Doing the happy Dance"
I was inspired by the tea party phrase sticker and the playing cards on the collection.
The Alice´s in Wonderland reference was so clear to me that I couldn´t help it and since I like to include three dimensional elements to my layouts to get added dimension, I included little boxes on the layout and took advantage of the spaces inside to add embellishments, stamps and pictures.
Finally, the detail I love the most here is: I painted a white rose with red wash ink.

Another Scrap-Zine magazine is up, bringing a special report about The Color Room to which  I conntributed with a layout of shining colors, in a beautiful combo! Do not miss it!

There is also an article about the news I saw on CHA Summer and a layout inspired on  Beatriz Milhazes’ colorful work. 

Beatriz Milhazes’ work is perfect as an inspiration for scrapbooking works. I tried portraying, with reference to the northeastern symphony artistic creation, the geometrical abstraction, the arabesques, targets and circles to which she put on layers and layers of colors and papers. For me, scrapbooking is a little bit about what Beatriz shows: a colorful mixture of patterns and contrasts on which a harmony for excesses are searched for!

Meninas, está no ar mais uma revista Scrap-Zine, da Thati Penna, já no seu terceiro número e está um arraso, cheia de novidades e trabalhos belíssimos e inspiradores!

Para este eu contribui com uma reportagem sobre o que vi de novidade na CHA Summer, um layout realizado com base em combo de cores e sketch do The Color Room que está especialmente representado na revista, que contou com a participação de scrapppers internacionais, de várias partes do mundo!

Adoro participar do artigo "Inspiração", em que a revista, neste número, buscou a obra colorida e riquíssima da carioca Beatriz Milhazes.

"A obra colorida de Beatriz Milhazes é perfeita como inspiração para trabalhos de scrapbooking. Procurei retratar, com referência á obra sinfonia nordestina, a abstração geométrica, os arabescos, alvos e círculos aos quais ela sobrepõe camadas e camadas de cores e papéis. Para mim, o scrapbooking é um pouco disso que Beatriz mostra: uma mistura colorida de padrões e contrastes em que se busca uma harmonia pelo excessos!"

Rota do Papel

É com muito prazer que estou indo para Belo Horizonte no sábado, dia 28 de agosto, encontrar minhas amigas mineiras e realizar três projetos incríveis na Rota do Papel!

No sábado pela manhã, faremos duas páginas de scrapbooking coloridíssimas e cheias de técnicas de pinturas. Dentre estas, pintaremos com Copic, incluindo o aerógrafo que acabo de trazer da CHA e utilizaremos outras técnicas divertidas. Pela tarde, um lindo mini álbum de viagem também cheio de detalhes legais!
