Favorite layout 2009 and a new DT position

This is my fave layout 2009.

It was my entry to the Pencil Lines DT call.

With this layout, I was chosen to be part of their team! Isn´t that fabulous? I feel so honored!

I´m really looking forward to working more with sketches in 2010 and, of course, this DT position will be another opportunity to internationally promote my work and improve my designer experience in an amazing group of designers.

Happy New Year everyone!

A year in review

This was a really nice year to me! I got some nice DT position, was published and had amazing invitations! I would like to finish it by showing you a selection of my top 10 favorite layouts of the year.

In Portuguese:

O ano de 2009 foi realmente muito bom para mim. Tornei-me uma designer internacional e realizei o sonho de ser Fashionista do SIS TV. Fui publicada na França e no Brasil e tive alguns convites muito legais. Com tudo isso, o scrap tornou-se mais profissional em minha vida, apresentando-se cheio de desafios.

Fiz uma seleção dos trabalhos cujo resultado eu gosto bastante e mostrei acima.

The place where I belong

Searching for the place where I belong, I drew the doors on this layout inspired by the movie "Monsters Inc.".
And these doors just found the perfect match: Boo´s sillouete and a photo of mine at Disney´s studios.
I also had a lot of fun while playing with some Angie Delarie´s new stamps here.

A new catalyst is up at the Creative Therapy Website. The prompt this time is this: What´s something you swore you would never do? did you do it? Why?
I swore I would never live without passion.
My piece is a reflection on Oscar Wilde´s quote:
"To live is the rarest thing in the world. Most people exist, that´s all".
It´s a birdhouse, using Harlee Quinnz design papers.
