My first exhibition!

It’s true. I am very anxious with this great news: from Monday, 27th, April until 9th, May, at “Francophonies”, my French course school, I’ll be exhibiting all my works inspired on the movie "Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain". The proposition is really nice and it will be followed, on May 9th at 2:30 pm, by a presentation about scrapbooking and the challenges which were already promoted by the "Inspired by Amélie" website, and, we also get a basic workshop for beginners and the challenges already made for it! Everything for free and in French!

AMM Happenings!

Hey girls, don't miss this! We're going to be hosting some amazing challenges, tutorials, printable journaling spots and more to celebrate National Scrapbook Day (May, 2nd and 3rd). I prepared a tutorial to make some paper flowers and the AMM Desig Team has wonderful surprises for you! We're going to turn the whole weekend into a crop, so get ready and make plans to have the day to yourself, because we're going to have too much fun!!!

And I also prepared instrutions to do a very nice project with the May Kit. I't time to order it! It's stunning!

This kit is full of vintage inspired embellishments with a very shabby chic combination of Webster's Pages, Basic Grey and Prima to name a couple manufacturers. Here is the peek from the website.

"Cut it out" challenge

All you have to do is a lo with LOTS of cut work on it. There is an optional twist (this means you don't have to do, but it would be cool if you did!) of adding bling to your lo as well.This starts Sunday April 19th and ends May 2nd!

Eba! Essa semana vou dar duas aulinhas na Vale do Papel! Isso mesmo, abri um horário novo no dia 22 de abril, as 19hs! Para essa aula, faremos uma página fofíssima, toda decorada com carretéis, alfinetes e botões, com papéis Bazzill e American Crafts. É para quem gosta de costura! Não se esqueça de levar uma foto no tamanho 8X9 cm e duas mini fotos no tamanho 3X5 cm. Já no dia 24 de abril, vamos trabalhar com 1 foto 10X15 vertical, de preferência PB. A decoração tem frutinhas, arvorezinhas, florzinhas e formigas, tudo como eu adoro e vocês pediram.

What is your favorite word and why? Mine is "nest" Isn't the coziest place in the world? When I think of this word, it reminds me of an idea of protection, love and union. On the other hand, I also adore the metaphor of leaving the nest and achieving freedom." My journaling is a poem: There in a high branch of a tree , lay a nest of babies that no one could see. The ways of the world were beyond their sight. They were wanting to try their wings. I also worked on a layout about freedom that I didn't submit to the website, but you can see it here.
